Tottenham Hotspur FC is an English Premier League football club based in London, England. Spurs, as they are commonly called, were founded in 1882. They are one of only two football teams to have won at least on trophy in each of the last six decades, the other being Manchester United.

Tottenham has an extremely intense rivalry with fellow London side Arsenal, and the two compete in the North London Derby each season. The two are separated by only four miles. Tottenham currently plays all home matches at London's White Hart Lane. The stadium opened in 1899 and is one of the loudest in the Premier League.
