Real Salt Lake was an expansion club along with Chivas USA in 2005. Based out of Salt Lake City, the club was getting typical expansion team results until their emergence in 2008 as one of the top teams in the league. They have yet to win any cups but have a very good chance in 2008. The club played it's first 3 seasons at the University of Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium until they moved into the brand new, soccer-specific Rio Tinto Stadium in 2008, which is already considered the nicest stadium in Major League Soccer. They are fierce rivals with the Colorado Rapids and face off in the Rocky Mountain Cup each year. RSL has won the cup in 2007 and 2008.
Because of the team moving into the brand new stadium, tickets are as hard to get as they ever have been. Even after hosting phenom Freddy Adu, Real hasn't seen it's popularity this high since the team was founded. The club is currently led by Clint Mathis, Robbie Findley, Jamison Olave, and Chris Seitz. Don't miss your chance to watch Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium or any other Major League Soccer venue. Get your tickets here at yaytickets.com.
