The New England Revolution, while a successful club, have seemed to turn into the Buffalo Bills of Major League Soccer. They have reached 4 MLS Cup championships (2002, 2005, 2006, 2007) and have lost all four in heartbreaking fashion, including the last 3 MLS Cup title games played. They have had success in other events though, taking home the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2007 and winning the SuperLiga in 2008.
